Slow Food is organized into three main entities: the international non-profit Slow Food association, the Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity and the Terra Madre Foundation.

  • The Slow Food association supports and finances all the activities linked to the international network, including educational programs and political initiatives.
  • The Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity supports and runs projects to defend biodiversity (particularly in the global south).
  • The Terra Madre Foundation organizes the gathering of food communities held every two years in Turin and supports all the networking activities of the communities, including regional meetings to develop the local network.
Download here the most recent reports on the finances of the different entities. These reports do not contain financial information about Slow Food’s national branches (in Italy, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, South Korea and the Netherlands) because they have their own budgets, independent of the international Slow Food association.
